Even as school board members have taken an unprecedented coordinated effort to appeal to Albany for fairness in school funding. They are appealing to members of their community to get involved in the grassroots letter-writing campaign.

Cantiague Park Senior Men's Golf League
It was the first tournament of the season. It was cold and windy. Between the weather and the long layoff, we did not shoot very well. We had 16 golfers today and only nine pars between them and three men got two pars. Ted Marakawa won overall low and he was the only man to shoot under his handicap. In spite of the cold weather, I think that we were all glad to be out there again and we are looking forward to warmer weather and better scores.
