Son of Florence and the late James. Brother of Ellen Wexler, Carol Rundowsky and Julia Hengstler. Son-in-law of John and Anna O'Sullivan . Brother-in-law of Timothy, John (Anna) and Stephen O'Sullivan. Uncle of 11. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Mass at St. Ignatius RC Church. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.

Martin A. DiStefano, of Hicksville, died on Oct. 17, 2005. He was retired from Tip Top Bread. Husband of the late Marie. Father of Patricia R. Gebhard. Grandfather of Edward and Robert.
