The Hicksville Unit of the Nassau County Police Activity League (PAL) will hold registration on Monday, Sept. 19 and Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the PAL Office Trailer. Registration for the following sports will take place at this time:
Boys/Girls (mixed teams)
Boys/Girls: Ages 8-18
Boys/Girls: Ages 9-18
Boys: 3rd through 6th grade (during 2005-2006 school year)
Boys: 7th and 8th grade (for those not eligible to play in public school)
Girls: 3rd through 6th grade (during 2005-2006 school year)
Boys/Girls: Ages 5-8
Ages 6 to 14
Ages 6 to 14
Boys/Girls: Ages 4-18
*All first-time lacrosse registrants must bring a copy of their birth certificate to registration. PAL no longer issues personal lacrosse equipment.
**Boys lacrosse equipment will be available to borrow; All players must have their own stick.
***Winter League begins September 2005 at Plainview Bowl; Summer League begins June 2006 at Plainview Bowl. Register at Plainview Bowl, Old Bethpage Road and Old Country Road in Plainview; 433-9595.
Please note, a parent/guardian must be present at registration. Participation is stressed and trophies will be awarded to all participants. The PAL Office Trailer is located in the west parking field of KeySpan Energy (entrance gate off Old Country Road opposite Park Avenue in Hicksville.)
