Hicksville resident James Delaney succumbed to his injures on Thursday, July 21 after being hit by a car the night before. James, who would have turned 15 on July 23, was riding his bike home from football practice when the accident happened at 8:32 p.m. at the intersection of Newbridge Road and Elmira Road. FULL STORY

It was a very hot and humid day today (7/21). The scores were not bad and we had 40 pars among 41 golfers, including four by Bill Cheslock. We also had two birdies, one by Ted Marakawa on the 157-yard, par 3, 7th hole and the other by Dave Malle on the 150-yard, par, 3rd hole.
