Hicksville Resident Says 'Thanks' at Annual Event --
During an uplifting and inspirational evening, nearly 550 cancer survivors and their guests celebrated life at Winthrop-University Hospital's recent Seventh Annual Cancer Survivors Day dinner. Held at the Marriott Hotel in Uniondale, the event gave the survivors and their loved ones the opportunity to reunite with staff from Winthrop's Institute for Cancer Care, as they shared experiences during an evening that was marked by joy and camaraderie.

County's 650 New Names to Be Inscribed on Walls of Honor Memorial
Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi, joined by Legislator Diane Yatuaro (D-Glen Cove) and Legislator Lisanne Altman (D-Great Neck), hosted a ceremony at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow unveiling another 650 names inscribed on the Nassau County "Walls of Honor" Memorial, which was funded by private donations.
