The Hicksville American Soccer Club, one of 98 member clubs of the Long Island Junior Soccer League, is gearing up for the upcoming fall season. Children of all skill levels are encouraged to enroll. Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL), which arranges all the travel team (players U9 to U19) schedules makes every effort to balance divisions fairly. Emphasis is on skill development and good sportsmanship.

LIJSL is a non-profit organization with over 1,500 travel teams on Long Island and in Queens. Approximately 100,000 players are registered to play organized soccer in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens. LIJSL is run by volunteers determined to make a difference by "Building Character through Soccer."
