The Hicksville Ice Hockey Club finished its regular season in second place in the Non-Tournament Bound Division of the High School Hockey League of Nassau County. The Stars will begin post season play on Monday, March 21 at IceWorks in Syosset at 9:40 p.m. The Stars compiled a 9-3 record in the division and will face third place Garden City in the first round. If they are successful again in beating Garden City, they will advance to a best of three final series, which begins on Tuesday, March 22. League playoff results can be found at www.LongIslandHSHockey.net and on the Hicksville Hockey site at www.hicksvillehockey.com

Anyone interested in participating in a 10-game spring season with Hicksville Hockey can contact Coach Bill Alonge at 249-2583. The team will most likely play at the varsity level, but any player living within the Hicksville vicinity who is interested is urged to contact the team in hopes of setting up middle school and junior varsity teams.
