Felix P. Garger, 84, of Hicksville, formerly of Bayside and Ridgewood, died on Jan. 30, 2005. A WWII veteran, he retired after 32 years at Sperry Gyroscope. Husband of the late Marion. Father of Peter (Catherine), Thomas (Dolores) and Nancy Wilhelm (Allan). Brother of Margaret, George, Andrew and the late Joseph, Herman and Frances. Grandfather of Jennifer, Kristen, Alexander, Caitlyn, Allison and Sara. Uncle of many. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. John J. (Jack) Phillips, of Hicksville, died on Feb. 1, 2005. He was retired sergeant from the NYPD and a retired RN from Winthrop Hospital. Husband of Maureen. Father of Joseph, Jacqueline Coburn (Scott) and Michael. Grandfather of Justin, Kristin, Kevin and Michael.
