Sensei Nick DeLuca of the Martial Arts Institute II in Hicksville is proud to announce that many of his students took home winning trophies at the fourth annual New York State Martial Arts Championships, held at Farmingdale State University on Oct. 17.

Sensei nick began successfully training and competing in 1988 and since the opening of the second martial Arts institute location in January 2004, has proven to be a top quality instructor as well. In just 10 months, he has inspired and motivated his students, both children and adults, to train hard and, at the same time, to develop respect, discipline and self-esteem. It was this dedication that elicited winners in every division entered, in various age groups. The school is located at 32 East Carl Street behind Goldman Brothers.

Congratulations to Sensei Nick DeLuca for his accomplishments in the tournament, as well as the success of the students under his direction!
