Marist senior midfielder David Musinski was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Offensive Player of the Week. This is the second straight week that a Red Fox has earned the honor.

A resident of Hicksville and a co-captain of Marist's mens soccer team, Musinski scored twice in the first 33 minutes as Marist downed visiting Canisius 5-0 in the MAAC opener on Friday, Oct. 8. The goals were his first of the season and the 9th and 10th of his career.

In the Oct. 10 1-0 win over Niagara, Musinski assisted on sophomore midfielder Anthony Graci's game-winning goal in the 33rd minute and helped the Red Foxes earn their third consecutive shutout, tying the school record.

This is the second consecutive week that a Marist player has won MAAC Offensive Player of the Week. Freshman midfielder Damian Caputo won the award for his game-winning goal in the 1-0 Red Foxes win over host Oneonta State on Oct. 2.
