Island Harvest, Long Island's source authority on food rescue, is getting help in its fight to end hunger and food waste from its friends at Hofstra University, including the 2004 Hofstra Football team.

Fans attending the Sept, 25 Hofstra vs. Rhode Island game who bring donations of non-perishable canned or packaged foods will receive a free Hofstra static sticker and 2004 team poster. Food collection bins will be located at all stadium entrances at the Sept. 25 afternoon football game. The game starts at 3:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $3 to $12.
