The Girl Scouts of Nassau County's 20th annual "Go for the Green" Golf Outing was a great success with more than 100 attendees. The event, which took place on Monday, Aug. 2 at the Mill River Club, Inc. in Upper Brookville, raised more than $82,000 for the organization.

David Goldenberg, vice president of ACE Communications, and Richard Hamber, senior vice president for Business Development and Public Relations, at North Fork Bank were this year's honorees.

"We have been hosting this charity golf outing for 20 years and each year it just keeps getting better," said Donna Ceravolo, executive director of Girl Scouts of Nassau County. "Funds raised from this outing help our 23,000 Girl Scouts grow strong!"
