Pictured are Ed Hebron, 2003 CYO Role Model, and Joe Leo, 2004 CYO Role Model.

CYO of Nassau and Suffolk celebrated their 11th Annual Role Model Party on May 23. At this time, parish Role Models from all over Long Island were honored for their tireless efforts on behalf of the children in their communities.

Joseph P. Leo was the Holy Family Parish nominee for 2004. Leo exemplifies the true meaning of a CYO Role Model through all of his hard work and devotion to the youth of the parish. Leo began his affiliation with Holy Family CYO in 1983 as a basketball coach and has coached at least one team ever since. In 1985, Leo answered a higher calling to serve on Holy Family's CYO Board and through the years, has served on the board in various capacities, taking over as president in 1994 - a position he held until his retirement in January.

Many thanks to Joe Leo and congratulations on a job well done.
