2nd Annual Marc Khan Memorial Tournament August 7
The 2nd Annual Marc Khan Memorial Volleyball Tournament will be held on Saturday, Aug. 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Hicksville High School gym. Teams consisting of six to eight players will be accepted at a cost of $10 per player.

Suozzi Kicks Off Pool Season in Nassau County
Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi officially kicked off the season for the county's five swimming pool complexes. Suozzi was joined at the main swimming pool in Cantiague Park by several youngsters who have enrolled for swimming lessons this summer, as well as representatives from the Nassau County chapter of the American Red Cross. At the event, Suozzi complimented the outstanding work the parks employees have done to get the pools ready in time for the summer season.
