Hicksville Family Sets Out to Increase MS Awareness
When Lisa Zeankowski was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) two years ago the Hicksville resident was relieved because, after years misdiagnosis, she finally knew what was wrong and could begin treatment. While knowing what was wrong was a major step in the right direction, the illness still came as a shock to Zeankowski, a single mother of three.

Judith Lombardi, 17th L.D. Trailblazer
During a ceremony on March 22, the Nassau County Legislature celebrated Women's History Month by honoring 19 extraordinary women as "Trailblazers." Art this time, local women who have distinguished themselves in both business and their community were honored, including Hicksville resident Judith Lombardi, who was named a "Trailblazer" by Legislator Edward Mangano (17th L.D.)

Hicksville Crusaders Football will sponsor its First Annual Golf Outing on Monday, April 19 at the Oyster Bay Golf Course. The day will begin at 10 a.m. with a continental breakfast and be followed by a noon shotgun start.
