    On Saturday, Feb. 21 at approximately 3:28 p.m., the Hicksville Fire Department received a call for a reported house fire on Scooter Lane. When the first unit arrived on scene they observed heavy smoke and fire conditions on both the first and second floors with all occupants safely out of the home. FULL STORY

    The Hicksville Ice Hockey Club 14 and Under Team will host Wantagh/Seaford in a rare afternoon game at Cantiague Park in Hicksville on Wednesday, March 3 at 4 p.m. The High School Hockey League of Nassau County (HSHLNC) is attempting to attract more players to its league by obtaining weekday afternoon slots and Wednesdays at Cantiague Park seems to be the opportune time for those teams who can participate in a 4 p.m. time slot.
