Bernice R. Meagher Niccolls, 81, formerly of Hicksville, died on Jan. 20, 2004. She was born in New York City on April 10, 1922, daughter of the late James and Clare Horby Meagher. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Wife of the late Walter E. Sister of the late Bert Meagher and Arthur Meagher. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Warren Butt, Karen and Walter O'Rourke, Diane and Patrick Gully, Nancy and John Hupler; her son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Veronica Niccolls; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her siblings, Doris Schmidt, Eileen Grady, June Preddice, Carol Shaheen, Gerard, Ralph, Vincent and Bernard Meagher. Arrangements were made by the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, Hicksville. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.
