Cystinosis Fundraiser, a Success
On Jan. 24, more than 320 people attended the Cystinosis Research Network's 1st Annual Dinner Dance at the Milleridge Cottage in Jericho. Dubbed "Miracles at Milleridge" by its organizer Marybeth Krummenacker of Hicksville, the dinner dance raised $15,000, which will benefit the Cystinosis Research Network (CRN) and its ongoing efforts toward finding a cure for this rare metabolic disease.

Holy Family CYO Basketball Update
In its playoff opener against Infant Jesus, Holy Family appeared to be in trouble when star players Courtney and Erin Breen got into early foul trouble which forced them to spend almost the entire first-half on the bench. Nicole Robison capably filled the void. With a dazzling display of shooting, Nicole pumped in a game high 20 points while snatching 7 rebounds and collecting three steals, leading Holy Family to a 45-33 victory over Infant Jesus.
