(Editor's Note: The following letter was sent to Nancy DeSorbo, assistant principal of Hicksville High School.)

I'm sorry for the delay in writing to express my gratitude to you and the students from Hicksville High School for the wonderful senior luncheon on Nov. 6.

It was wonderful to be entertained by the students in the music department and drama class. You just don't realize how great these kids are under the tutelage of Dan Kristoff, Amy Knoll and Ms. Passeltiner. The servers were kind and courteous. They couldn't do enough to make certain everyone was well taken care of. We can be so proud of them and look forward to the spring luncheon.

I wish everyone the happiest of holidays and Season's Greetings.
