I'd like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to the many Hicksville residents who came out on Tuesday night, Dec. 9th to elect me as your next fire commissioner.

This success could not have been accomplished without the support and efforts of many Hicksville families who feel that it is time for some changes to be made in our fire district. These families have put great faith in my ability and desire to bring about these changes and I stand by my commitment to establish open communication between the fire district, the fire department and you, the taxpayers. Many of you worked tirelessly and enthusiastically for months. It is teamwork such as this that will strengthen our community and enhance our fire district.

I wish you all a very happy, safe and healthy holiday season and look forward to working with you and for you over the next five years.
