On Sunday, Nov. 9, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the Hicksville Fire Department and the Nassau County Police Department responded to a call at the intersection of Levittown Parkway and Stewart. A collision between a red Dodge Shadow and a Honda Civic resulted in injuries to three people who were transported to area hospitals by the fire and police department ambulances. Earlier that day there were two other auto accidents with injuries; one on the northbound side of Newbridge Road and Ballpark Lane and another on Old Country Road and Apex Lane.
On Saturday, Nov. 15, at approximately 11:15 a.m., the Hicksville Fire Department responded to a call for an overturned auto at the intersection of Old Country and New South Roads. Upon arriving at the scene, department members found a red Chevrolet pickup truck lying on its passenger side. The driver was injured and treated at the scene by Hicksville Fire Department Ambulance #939. The Nassau County Police Department's Emergency Services Bureau was called to right the vehicle.

On Monday, Nov. 17, at approximately 12:45 p.m., the Hicksville Fire Department and the Nassau County Police Department's Emergency Services Bureau were called to the scene of an overturned vehicle at the intersection of Old Country Road and South Oyster Bay Road. A collision occurred between a tan Hyundai Elantra - which overturned - and an aqua Ford Taurus. The Jaws of Life was used to extricate the female driver of the overturned Hyundai and she was transported to a local hospital. First Assistant Chief Steve Doucette was in charge and Hicksville received mutual aid from the Plainview Fire Department.
