On Sunday, Nov. 9, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the Hicksville Fire Department and the Nassau County Police Department responded to a call at the intersection of Levittown Parkway and Stewart. A collision between a red Dodge Shadow and a Honda Civic resulted in injuries to three people who were transported to area hospitals by the fire and police department ambulances. Earlier that day there were two other auto accidents with injuries; one on the northbound side of Newbridge Road and Ballpark Lane and another on Old Country Road and Apex Lane. FULL STORY

The Red Devils U12 Girls Soccer Team and the Rising Suns U11 Girls Soccer Team celebrated winning the Sportsmanship Award in their respective divisions during a ceremony at the Huntington Town House.
