The Hicksville Community Council will host two Meet the Candidates events with one of Thursday, Oct. 23 and the other on Thursday, Oct. 30. Both will take place at 7 p.m. at the Hicksville Public Library.
At both meetings, there will be specific questions for all the candidates to answer as well as a question/answer session for the public. Each candidate will be given time to state their goals, if elected, and their qualifications for the job.
Remember, it is the responsibility of the voters to elect the candidates who will do what is best for the community.
If you are 18 or older and a citizen of the United States it's your right and responsibility to vote.
