Tim and Linda Stauder, in conjunction with the Ahepa Bone Marrow Registry - a member of the American Bone Marrow Registry - and the Caitlin Raymond International Registry, are seeking the community's support for a bone marrow blood testing drive on Tuesday, Sept. 30.

The drive will be held at St. Paul Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Hempstead from 2:30 to 9 p.m. in an effort to find a bone marrow donor for the Stauder's 7-year-old daughter Kirsten who has been diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML).

Residents between the ages of 18 and 55 are being asked to help. Come down and be tested to see if you are a match for Kirsten.

St. Paul's Cathedral is located at 110 Cathedral Avenue in Hempstead. Those who cannot make the Sept. 30 drive are encouraged to call Angelo Pantazes at 1-866-243-7237 to set up an appointment.
