(Editor's Note: The following letter is in response to an article that appeared in last week's Hicksville Illustrated News. All information for the article was submitted by the Nassau County Police Department.)

Your Aug. 1 edition of The Hicksville Illustrated News printed an article on the front page titled "Three Arrested for Criminal Sale, Possession of Narcotics." I would like to correct a mistake that was made in the article. You stated that a Hicksville man was arrested for selling drugs out of his home on Eldorado Boulevard in Hicksville. You continued to use the work "Hicksville" five more times. Eldorado Boulevard is not in Hicksville; it is in Plainview and perhaps should have been put on the front page of the Plainview Herald.

I have been a Hicksville resident for 44 years and take pride in reading positive things about Hicksville. We do not need to read articles that are incorrectly written and give Hicksville a bad image.
