The United Civic Association of North Oyster Bay, a coalition of civic and homeowner groups, and Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto held a press conference on Tuesday to announce broad based environmental initiatives that will include two important measures to preserve underground drinking water supplies in central Nassau County.

Nassau Officials, HBA Honor Former Commissioner
Several Nassau officials recently joined members of the Hicksville Baseball Association (HBA) in honoring the league's former commissioner, Joe Caruso (center), during an opening day ceremony held at Abe Levitts Complex on Stewart Avenue in Hicksville. Caruso was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award.
