St. Ignatius will host its 6th Annual Golf Classic at the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course on Tuesday, May 27. The cost for an individual is $185 which includes 18 holes of golf, use of an electric golf cart, goodie bags and prizes, a full breakfast, lunch at the turn-around, cocktail party and sumptuous dinner at the Woodland's (located on the golf course property.)

Sponsorships and deluxe golf packages are available. Many who participated in previous outings have raved about the wonderful prizes and how much they enjoyed themselves. Hole-in-One prizes will be available courtesy of Robert Chevrolet and Regan Pontiac Buick GMC Trucks and, hopefully, someone will be lucky enough to drive home in a new automobile.

Like previous years, a silent auction will be held during the cocktail hour and dinner. Featured items include a party at Jillian's, a round of golf for three at Island Hills Country Club, golf lessons, a large basket of cheer and a digital camera. A raffle for a TV/VCR combo, a DVD player and $100 cash will also take place during the dinner.

Anyone interested - men and women single golfers or groups, should contact St. Ignatius' Rectory at 931-0056 for more information. The parish is dedicated to doing everything in their power to make the golf outing an enjoyable day for everyone. At the same time, the parish will benefit financially from your efforts.
