Registration for the Hicksville Crusaders Football and Cheerleading for the 2003 season will take place at Levittown Hall on Monday, March 3 and Monday, April 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. Practice is set to begin the first week of August.

The Hicksville Football Association's inaugural season was a big success and with the momentum and enthusiasm received from the community, association officials expect to have teams in every age group for 2003.

The fee for the league, which includes all equipment and uniforms, is as follows:

Football

5- to 6-year-olds: $80*

7- to 14-year-olds: $125

Cheerleading**

5 to 14-year-olds: $80

* Please note: The cost of the 5- to 6-year-old football registration is $80, not $180 as indicated in a previous issue.

** Details of optional competition cheerleading will be announced shortly.

The maximum fee is $200 per family and no refunds will be given after Aug. 30. To register by mail, send a check, payable to the Hicksville Football Association, to Mike Torrellas, 19 Edward Avenue, Hicksville, NY 11801. Please note, the Hicksville School District does not finance or endorse this program.
