(Editor's Note: The following letter was sent to the Hicksville Chamber of Commerce.)

The other evening I was sitting at the traffic light adjacent to the park with the fountain by Barclay Street. I looked over and noticed how absolutely wonderful the fountain and the gardens looked.

I just could not believe what I was seeing. The fountain was working and it looked wonderful, especially with all the plantings around it. I did notice a sign on the lawn stating that it was a gift to the people of Hicksville from Geral Associates.

That setting looks so nice and I just wanted to let the people who are responsible know how nice it looked. We live in the south part of Hicksville and it's really nice to see something positive while riding through our big town.
