Dennis Kavlakoglu of Hicksville recently acquired semi-finalist status in the Vytra Cup 14 and Under Skills Competition for Fastest Skater. Kavlakoglu, whose time was 17.22, will skate for Fastest Skater finalist position at 7th Annual Vytra Cup Ice Hockey Tournament - an event in which Nassau and Suffolk counties rival for the Long Island Championship.
