We are writing to encourage all qualified voters of the Fire Commissioner's Election on Dec. 10 to vote. We want you to know that Commissioner William McKee has opposition this year and we want you to come out and support our candidate.

William McKee has proved himself to be a candidate worthy of the community's support. Commissioner McKee is backed by the Hicksville Fire District's current Board of Fire Commissioners. Our candidate works well with others and supports the Hicksville Fire Department and chiefs. Please put our candidate back in office for another five years so that he can continue his support of the Hicksville Fire Department.

Please come out and vote at 20 East Marie Street, the main firehouse, between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m.

I am writing to inform residents of the Hicksville Fire District of an important election: the position of fire commissioner. The most qualified person for the position is Michael K. Krummenacker.

Mike has the experience as having served in the position before for 10 years, is an active member of the Hicksville Fire Department for over 30 years and is an active member in local, county and state committees concerning fire safety and protection legislation and laws. He is a certified New York State building and fire code enforcement officer and has been certified as a hazardous materials technician, specialist and is in management. During these uncertain times, these are important credits. A lifetime resident of Hicksville, he is concerned and wanted to work for the safety and protection of the residents.

Please remember to vote on Dec. 10 at fire headquarters, East Marie Street, from 6 to 9 p.m. Your vote means more now than ever before.

I am addressing all the residents of the Hicksville Fire District to inform you of a most important election taking place on Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hicksville Fire Department headquarters - the election of fire commissioner. I am asking that you please vote for Michael K. Krummenacker.

As a former fire commissioner for the Hicksville Fire District, I know what is required for the job and what it takes to do the job. Michael has what it takes for the job. He was a commissioner for 10 years, is an active member of the Hicksville Fire Department for over 30 years and a former captain of Company #1. He has served on a number of committees and has a number of certificates and training credentials.

Michael and I have on a number of occasions gone to Albany and worked on procedures to pass laws and legislation. Important legislative matters to improve the safety and protection of the firefighters and the general public. He is a lifetime resident of Hicksville and has over 20 years experience in banking and finance which he will lend to the business side of the district. In his current position as a fire inspector with the Nassau County Fire Marshal's Office, Krummenacker will have an important input to the many current events in our changing society. I not only speak for myself, but for the overwhelming number of concerned and active firefighters in Hicksville. Mike is the choice of the firefighters, for the firefighters.

Please, I ask you to take some time out and cast your vote for the best man for the job. Now, more than at any other time, you must vote. Your vote does count. All registered voters of Hicksville over the age of 18 can vote Dec. 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the East Marie Street firehouse. Thank you and we look forward to you being a part of the process.

On Dec. 10 we are asking the residents of the Hicksville Fire District to get out and vote for one of the most important elections of the year. We are asking that the residents come out and vote for the firefighters' man for the position, the firefighters' choice, the firefighters' candidate for fire commissioner - vote for Michael K. Krummenacker.

Mike has been a resident of Hicksville all his life. He has been a member of the Hicksville Fire Department for over 30 years and has served in a number of committees in the department. He is a former captain of Company #1. Mike has a number of credits and certifications in fire safety, Haz-Mat training and certifications. He has also been trained in terrorism threats and respond. The changes in our society require a person to be well prepared for the job at hand. Mike is also active on the Legislative and Law Committee for the Long Island Fire Districts and has a strong business experience which will be a great asset to the district office.

Please vote on Dec. 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. at fire headquarters, East Marie Street. All residents of the Hicksville Fire District 18 years of age and older can vote. If you have never voted before, now is the time to vote for the change.
