Hicksville Tree Lighting December 6
The Hicksville-Jericho Rotary Club and the Hicksville Fire Department will hold their annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 at Kennedy Park (located at Jerusalem Avenue and Broadway in Hicksville). The event will feature a visit from Santa and performances by students of the Ella Marie Dance Studio.

A Community Remembers
On Saturday, Nov. 23, the Hicksville School District community held a special memorial and dedication ceremony to honor and remember those community members who were victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Superintendent of Schools Maureen Bright welcomed hundreds of guests, young and old, including families of victims, distinguished guests, students, parents and resident who gathered at the high school for the ceremony.
