Rookie point guard Valerie Ahrens played like a seasoned veteran and did a superb job running the offense. Her lightning-like quickness produced 12 steals in the two games. Nicole Robinson, with 13 points, provided outstanding long range shooting while Jennifer Osorio out-hustled taller opponents to average 10 rebounds.
Erin Breen displayed her versatility, playing three different positions while coming up with seven points, 12 rebounds and six steals in the two games. Katie Leo and Nicole DeGennaro played tenacious defense in shutting down the opponents leading scores and forcing numerous turnovers. Rookie Michelle Vicidomini did a great job on the backboards, scoring five rebounds in each game.
