Josephine R. Gramaglia, of Old Bethpage, formerly of Hicksville, died on Oct. 2, 2002. Wife of the late George. Mother of Salvatore (Pat), Christine Madia (the late Tom), JoAnn Johnson (Doug), Gloria Reilly (Edward), George (Joanne), Philip (Lori), Angie Accarda (Tom) and the late Rosemary McCluskey (Joseph). Sister of Philip Rindone. Grandmother of 14. Great-grandmother of three. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Miriam Ann Drury, of Hicksville, died on Oct. 7, 2002. Wife of William C. Jr. Mother of David Kurtz, Lynn Durant, Cathy Beale, Christopher Gugel and William C. Drury III. Sister of David, Godfrey, James, Richard, Edward and Patty. Grandmother of seven. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Prayer service with Rev. Thomas J. McCarthy officiating. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.

Anne Church Gregory, 86, of Castine, ME, died on Oct. 16, 2002, in the Masonic Geriatric Healthcare Center, Wallingford, CT. She was the wife of Gardiner E. "Greg" Gregory. Born in NYC, June 10, 1916, a daughter of the late John Brandon Church and the late Euphemia Post Church, she had been a resident of Hicksville until 1978 when she moved to Castine and had recently moved to Wallingford. Mrs. Gregory and her husband were the co-founders of the Hicksville Gregory Museum and were members of the Castine Historical Society.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Susan E. Palle of Tenafly, NJ, and Linda Leisentritt of Edison, NJ; her sister Peggy Bauer of Westfield, NJ; her two sisters-in-law, Patricia Warner of Elkhardt, IN, and Jean Hart of Missouri; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers.

Arrangements were made by the Yalesville Funeral Home, Yalesville, Wallingford. Interment Castine Cemetery.
