As usual, the forever out of touch Dr. Finn, his puppeteer, Deputy Superintendent Maureen Bright, and those that compose the Hicksville Board of Education, Callari, DePalma, Black, Pfaender, Love, Theis and Sommers, have once more opted for arrogance over logic.

Common sense would tell the average marsupial that you've got three new people coming in to replace the incumbent incompetents of Callari, DePalma and Black and, perhaps, this new transfusion of Augustine Tornatore, Jim Pino and Caryn Calabrese might wish to have a say in this rehashed bond issue? This will not occur, for that is making the supposition that common sense exists amidst the unenlightened.

Why do I say that, you ask? Well, this is the same board that hired an architectural firm that arbitrarily picks numbers out of a hat and says that all of the schools in question need this, that and the other thing replaced based on their experience in working with other school districts without even inspecting the said facilities. So now that the bond has failed they once more toss the hat in the air and change a few numbers here and there and prepare the waste they propose to tube feed you for a second time around. How about the people that were on the bond issue board? Once the bond issue failed, this board and administration didn't even have the courtesy to bring it to the very same people who worked on it for the past two years.

Look folks, change is in the air, we just have to wait a wee bit longer so that Callari, DePalma and Black's replacements can begin to unwind this past board's web of deception that has reduced this school district to an academic joke. Three out of seven board members may not be a majority, but not all is milk and honey in the land of Oz. Yes, out of the four remaining, there is a percentage of never changing dinosaurs. More or less, we can now easily have a split vote.
