In the past month, there have been three roll over accidents in Hicksville involving sports utility vehicles. Two people were taken to Nassau University Medical Center, treated and released after an accident at the intersection of Jerusalem Avenue and 9th Street on Saturday, April 13 when one sports utility vehicle rolled over and the other came to rest on the lawn of a home. A black Toyota Rav 4 flipped over after being involved in an accident with a tan Honda at the intersection of East and Genesee Streets on Thursday, April 21 at approximately 4:30 p.m. One female was injured and transported to the hospital.
The Hicksville Fire Department responded to a rollover accident at approximately 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 at the intersection of Woodbury Road and Bethpage Road between a green Land Rover and a parked blue Chrysler. A male in the Land Rover was injured. |
