Congratulations to Mary D. McCrystal who celebrated her 101st birthday on March 30. Now a resident at United Presbyterian Residence in Woodbury, McCrystal grew up in the Bronx and lived in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn after marrying her late husband, George, in 1944 at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan. She is an aunt to Joan Uebel of Hicksville, Thomas Arnone of Kalispell, Montana; Muriel Callahan of Bergenfield, NJ; John 'Bud' Arnone and Carol Arnone of North Haven, CT; and Dee McCrystal of Savannah, GA as well as to many great-nieces and nephews. A 100th birthday celebration was held last year in her honor at the Milleridge Inn and attended by family and friends from all over the country.
