The Hicksville Chamber of Commerce will soon be hosting an event to promote the business community in Hicksville and the surrounding areas. The First Annual "Happy Hours," Classic Networking Event will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at the Imperial Manor in Hicksville. Appetizers and cocktails will be served from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The event is free; all you need to bring is some conversation and your business cards. The first 100 businesses that wish to promote their business need only provide a door prize. The door prize enables you to bring information, brochures and promotional giveaways to the event. The Hicksville Flash U-13 boys soccer team entered its third indoor tournament of the winter, the Sue Link Memorial Tournament at Island Trees High School, on Saturday, Jan. 19. The Flash entered the tournament again as a split squad. FULL STORY
