Attorney General Reaches Settlement With Days Inn
In the days following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, millions of Americans pulled together in a renewed spirit of cooperation and patriotism. However, this apparently was not the case at a locally operated hotel, which was cited by the New York State Attorney General's Office for taking advantage of the tragedy by price gouging.

Mangano Listens to Youth Council
Legislator Edward Mangano joined with Tom Bruno, executive director of Hicksville Youth Council to congratulate David Ochoa for speaking about the importance of youth programming at a legislature breakfast held at the Nassau County Bar Association. Ochoa offered a heartfelt speech concerning the significant influence the Hicksville Youth Council made in his life, as members of the Nassau County Youth Board, Coalition of Nassau County Youth Services Agencies, Network of Children Youth and Family Services Agencies and Members of the Legislature listened and learned.
