On July 19 the Cantiague Park Senior Men's Golf League held its ninth bi-monthly tournament. "The day was a great day to play golf (What day isn't?) It was cool with a little wind. We had 26 men participate today. That is the second highest number for the year. Al Lauritsen had an outstanding day today. He says that it was the best he had ever played. He won overall low score with a Net 27 and he also won Closest to the Pin AND the Longest Drive. Way to go, Al," reported Lou Neumann, organizer.

Competition on the nine hole course is divided into two divisions. Flight A is for players with a handicap of 11 or less. Flight B is for players with a handicap of 12 or more. The league is a 100 percent handicap league and is always looking for new members. Any man who is 55 years of age is eligible. For more information one may call Lou Neumann at 681-2056.
