On June 21, the Cantiague Park Senior Men's Golf League held its seventh bi-monthly tournament. "We had a very good turnout again this week, 26 golfers. This week we started a match play tournament within the regular tournament. We started with 16 men and now we are down to eight," commented a league spokesperson. "We had some good scores today two men shot 35's. (Dan McGann and Sean McGuinness) We also had two birdies today. One by Al Lauritsen on the Par 4, 5th hole, 257 yards. This hole is rated as the hardest hole to par. The other birdie was by Lou Neumann on the par 3, 4th hole, 200 yards. He missed a hole-in-one by about a foot.
