Throughout the community this week, people are remembering the man who was so familiar that he came to be known as "Mr. Hicksville." Howard J. Finnegan died on June 2, at the age of 75. After suffering a cardiac arrest, he passed away at United Presbyterian Residence in Woodbury. FULL STORY

On June 7, the Cantiague Park Senior Men's Golf League held its sixth bi-monthly tournament. There were 23 golfers, which is a little less than in previous tournaments. The weather was perfect, a nice sunny day with little or no humidity and a slight breeze. FULL STORY
