    The Hicksville school district held its first of two budget workshops Wednesday, Jan. 17. The board of education was on hand, along with Superintendent Dr. Edward Finn, Assistant Superintendent of Administration Maureen Bright and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Rosemary Planz to listen to budgetary requests from district supervisors.     The Town of Oyster Bay Planning Advisory Board has scheduled a meeting for Thursday, Jan. 25, to consider site plans for a proposed five-story, 102,160-square foot, 150-unit assisted living facility.
