Beautifying Hicksville is one of the many pet projects Hicksville's Northwest Civic Association devotes their time and energy to. During their last meeting Monday, Jan. 8, guest speaker Pat Conway, former chamber of commerce president and driving force in the renovation of Hicksville's Fountain Park, discussed plans to revamp the adjacent Kennedy Park.
