Karl V. Anton, Jr., publisher and editor-in-chief of Anton Community Newspapers, died Saturday morning at his home in North Merrick with his wife Angela Susan Anton by his side. His death followed a short illness of cancer. He was 81 years old. FULL STORY

Jake Ziegler of Hicksville was awarded the overall lowest net score after the tie breaker was considered (best first hole score). Twenty golfers competed in the organization's bi-monthly tournament.

The Holy Family Parish Eighth Annual Golf Outing is scheduled for Tuesday, July 25 on the Green course at Bethpage State Park. The cost for an individual is $130. The day will start with an 6:30 a.m. check-in and breakfast followed by a 8 a.m. shot gun start, 18 holes of golf with electric cart. We will have lunch on the course, cocktails and buffet dinner to follow. There are sponsorships and golf packages available. This event gives our parishioners and friends an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful day and support Holy Family in our effort to provide for the needs of our community and our young students. FULL STORY
