Despite a strong spring rainstorm Saturday, the Hicksville Asteroids girls U12 travel soccer team won their second consecutive home game of the season. The Asteroids defeated their uptown rivals the Plainview-Old Bethpage Pizazz 5-1. The Asteroids are extremely tough to beat at home, winning their last six of seven games at Tudor Park and outscoring their opponent's 18 goals to only four with four shutouts.
