Husband of the late Elizabeth. Father of Elizabeth (John) Hennelly, Charles (Louise) Lang, Mary Ann Lang, Patricia Lang, William (Barbara) Lang and Janet (Michael) Filippone. Dr. Bernard W. Paul, who practiced dentistry in Hicksville for 40 years, passed away on Feb. 17, 2000, of a mysterious encephalitis. He was a veteran of 3 1/2 years with the Army Air Corps during WWII. A true patriot, he was a member of the Kiwanis for over 40 years where he served as president and eight years as secretary. He was a Midland Civic Association member and a devout lover of Hicksville. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; three children, Judy Gulbis, Richard Paul and Dr. Edward Paul; and five grandchildren, Patricia, Jennifer, Melissa, Sarah and Harry Paul.
