It's Time To Reassess
Calling for the complete reassessment of Nassau's over 415,000 parcels of property in a news conference held in the press room of the State Supreme Court building in Mineola earlier this week, Nassau County Assessor Charles O'Shea made the most dramatic step to date to modernize the county's assessment system that has been unchanged since 1938.
Holy Family Clinches Tie for First
Holy Family faced a must win situation in their last regular season game in order to clinch a tie for first place. Holy Family started slowly and found themselves tied after one quarter.
Hotshots Celebrate First Place Win
The Hicksville Hotshots, the under-10 girls travel team, celebrated their first place win in their division for the fall season with a skating party. This spring the Hotshots will be Hicksville's first under-10 team to ever make it to Division I. Congratulations girls!
