Carmen Palmese, of Hicksville and Murrells Inlet, SC, died suddenly on Nov. 13, 1999. He was retired from G.E. Supply, Hicksville, where he worked for 40 years. Beloved husband of Janet (Terrell) Palmese. Devoted father of Daniel (Rosanne) of Kerhonkson, NY, Gary (Irene) of Hicksville, Karen Grappone (Paul) of Belle Mead, NJ, Edward of Hicksville and Thomas (Carmela) of Franklin Square. He is survived by six dear grandchildren and two sisters, Marie Marone and Rose DiGaetano. A funeral Mass was at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Hicksville on Nov. 19 and burial was at Holy Rood Cemetery. The family has requested that donations be made to the Franciscan Sisters of Peace, 20 Ridge St., Haverstraw, NY 10927, in his memory.

Rosemary Delio, of Hicksville, died on Nov. 17, 1999. Wife of Joseph. Mother of Donna Marie DiBlase, Lisa Ann DeCicco and Tracey Michelle Delio. Grandmother of Gabrielle, Ryan, Frankie and Giavanna. Sister of Patricia Ann Kushnir. Mother-in-law of Angelo DiBlase and Frank DeCicco. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Mass at St. Paul the Apostle RC Church. Entombment Holy Rood Cemetery.
