Wilma A. Franco, of Hicksville, died on Oct. 30, 1999. Wife of the late Joseph. Mother of Gerard, Carol, Joseph, Barbara Jones and Janet Haberman. Sister of Mildred Toomey. Grandmother of seven. Virginia B. Buckhardt (nee Horan), of Hicksville, died on Nov. 3, 1999. She was a sales clerk at Baumberg's Bakery in Hicksville from 1937 to 1950 and a member of Our Lady of Mercy Rosary Altar Society, Catholic Golden Age Club and the Senior Center Club. Wife of the late Charles E. Mother of August J., Sharon E. Frago and Thomas M. Sister of Elizabeth Froehlich and Helen Wulforst. Grandmother of Cynthia, Zachariah and Ethan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.

Rita F. DeJohn, of Hicksville, died on Nov. 5, 1999. Wife of the late Peter J. Mother of Carol DeLorenzo (Bob), Joan Brite (Paul), Linda Poolt, Pamela Luhmann (Henry) and Patricia Hymes (Jerry). Grandmother of 11. Great-grandmother of four. Sister of Sr. Florence Purdie. Arrangements were made by the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral, Hicksville. Mass at Holy Family RC Church. Beatrice Robbins, 81, formerly of Hicksville, died on Nov. 6, 1999. She taught third grade in Amityville for 20 years. Wife of the late Joseph A. Mother of Dr. Chester L. Robbins (Ellen). Sister of the late Judith Fine. Grandmother of Joseph and Nathaniel. Interment Wellwood Cemetery.
